Finnish Commuter (Finncomm) Airlines is a privately owned Finnish airline founded in 1993. They operate under their own Air Operator's Certificate routes in Finland and Europe and have been co-operating with Finnair since 1998.

Since the fleet and seating capacity are growing, they can sell tickets for lower price. Their recent offer includes one way tickets for ?39 (?20+taxes) to Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kemi/Tornio, Kokkola/Pietarsaari, Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Pori, Savonlinna, Seinäjoki, Tampere, Vaasa and Varkaus.

Prices to Tallinn, Estonia start from ?49 (?29+taxes).

Prices include a light meal on board. No extra charge for luggage.

The basic conditions for getting this offer are similar to that of any airline. There is a limited availability of these bargain tickets per day.

The Scanrail Pass gives you 21 consecutive days of travel on Finnish and Swedish Railways, Norwegian and Danish State Railways as well as Arriva in Denmark, Connex in Sweden & Norway and Berlin Night Express between Sweden and Germany.

The Scanrail Flexipass gives you the option of 5, 8, or 10 days of travel within a two month period. The days that you travel on don't need to be consecutive as long as they are used within a two month period. When you take the bus in Apeldoorn, you will get a return ticket for just 1.50 Euro. Which is really cheap.
The bus company is named Veolia. Every year Veolia and the City Council are looking if they are keep continuing this. And so far they do. They keep doing this because the City Council/Government want the people to use public transport more. And by making the ticket just for 1.50 Euro, I think they made a good deal.

The popular Czech bus company (Student Agency) which is a well-kept secret in Praha now has busses from Budapest to Praha or the other direction. Their web site in Hungary is about to start (Nov. 8, 2006), but they are well-known in Czech Republic. The tickets from Budapest to Praha can be also bought in person. The address in Budapest is:

Balticair flies from Riga in Latvia to Tblisi (Georgia), Baku (Azerbaijan) and Yerevan (Armenia). They also fly further afield to Dubai, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Flights are relatively cheap, many other airlines service Latvia, no other budget airlines connect Europe to the Caucas.

The service between Russian North (Kandalaksha) and Finland is perhaps known only to few locals. Looking at http://www.matkahuolto.fi/en/ I discovered, there are busses going between Kandalaksha and Kemijärvi.

I found the busses are starting each Mon,Thu Kandalaksha (Russia) at 7:00 local time, arriving Kemijärvi 11:20, departing Kemijärvi 16:00 and arriving Kandalaksha 22:20

Unusual deal - but why not? The bus company "Gulliverrus" provides bus transfer (they have four smaller "Mercedes" buses) between the city of Murmansk in Russia and Kirkenes

This just posted on Budget Travel's email newsletter: Air France just announced that passengers can now stop over in Paris for FREE on all flights to Europe, Middle East, India, or Africa. The Paris break comes at no additional charge regardless which direction you're flying, what class ticket you bought, or how much (or little) you paid.
