Chicago Office of Tourism offers free 2 - 3 hour personalized tours for groups of 6 or less via public transportation. They provide a 1-day public transit pass and volunteer guide. This is a fantastic deal. The hotel is great, the meals are outstanding, something for everyone. There is an indoor and outside pool and an indoor thermal bath. A fitness center, sauna and steam room.
We buy a bus/train/tram/trolley pass and have no SPA treatments on Wednesday and Saturday and these are our tour days. The bus stops right outside the hotel, there is a ATM at the hotel. There are two hotel on Margaret Island, one is an older one the Grand Hotel, and the other is the new one, the Health SPA Resort Margitsziget, both owned by Danubius. All the activities are in the Health SPA Resort. The hotels are only about 10 yards from each other and they are also connected by an underground tunner. You can have your meals are either hotel.

This is fantastic news. Until today, Ryanair was the only direct route from Scotland (Prestwick) to Krakow. This wasn't ideal as the baggage limit was a measly 15kg. Easyjet are flying from Edinburgh and allow a more reasonable 20kg, and fly 4 days a week !! This more than makes up for the previous Sky Europe flight from Edinburgh to Krakow which stopped operating last December.

As a comparison, I booked a flight yesterday with Ryanair to go to Krakow for Xmas and New Year, this cost me £210 IF I had waited one day then the same flight would have cost me £95, and with more luggage allowance, plus Edin. is much much closer to my house :-((

If only I had known the Easyjet flights were being introduced.
