This trip is special designed for the one who has limited time in central land of Vietnam. The trip includes the intricate tunnels of Vinh Moc in the DMZ (De-Militarized Zone), that were created by the North Vietnamese Army during the War as well as the splendid Phong Nha National Park. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park as a World Heritage Site in 2003. The Park became the country's fifth World Heritage listing following in the footsteps of Halong Bay, the former Imperial capital of Hue, the ancient fishing port of Hoi An and the Cham ruins of My Son.

Depart from Hue at 06.30 AM we will drive along Ho Chi Minh highway to the Son River where we take a boat trip to the famed caves at Phong Nha. The park does not only have beautiful limestone formations, grotto caves and forest, but it also contains the largest primeval forest in Vietnam and the biggest limestone mountain range on the planet. Following our exploration of the caves we return Hue en route to the Tunnels of Vinh Moc, the amazing 2.8 km of tunnels. Unlike their counterparts in Cu Chi in Southern Vietnam, the Vinh Moc Tunnels remain unaltered and therefore offer an authentic view of underground life. We enter a part of the Tunnels and explore the subterranean passageways. Following the tunnel on the way back to Hue we stop to Visit: Hien Luong bridge, Ben Hai River, Con Tien, Doc Mieu combat bases which was the part of the former DMZ. Our tour ends at your hotel in Hue at around 6 m (L)

Our guide will see you at the lobby of the hotel and we walk to Scout Cafe to take the welcome drink. Then we visit Hoi An?s colorful market and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have our opportunity to interact with local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the coming cooking lesson. After that we board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise about 25 minutes along Thu Bon River to Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life and make sure your camera is in your hand. Up on arrival, we explore the cooking school?s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some Hoi An and Vietnam?s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours, each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge?s Chief before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson we enjoy our products then.

AM: Our tour bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi around 08:00 AM to transfer to Ha Long Bay. On the way, you will have chance to see the beautiful landscape of Red River Delta. Have a short break of 20 minutes at an Embroidery shop on the way for relaxing and shopping.

PM: Check in the traditional junk in Ha Long Bay. You will have lunch on junk while cruise the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape, including the bay?s most famous sights: Fighting Cock, Dog and Incense Burner Rocks.
Later, we will visit Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprises) and stop at a floating house for kayaking ? the best way to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of Ha Long Bay.
Return to Halong City then transfer to Hanoi.
The trip ends around 08:00 PM at your hotel in Hanoi.

This morning we depart from our hotel in Hanoi around 08.00. After more than 3 hours driving including a stop-over at the Humanity Center in Hai Duong province to donate money to the children who are the victims of Agent Orange, we arrive in Halong Bay at around 11:30. We transfer from our car to our boat. Enjoy a delicious, fresh, seafood lunch after that and spend about 4 hours cruising this secluded bay. During the time we will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Heaven Palace cave, crammed with stalactites and stalagmites. Weather permitting, we can swim from our boat in the bay. We will return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
