A new website has launched that offers reasonably priced transfers into central London. It also transfers between Heathrow and Gatwick

Called dot2dot, you can book a mini van transfer for £17.50 into the centre of london. A return journey costs you £10.50

As its a minivan there is the likelihood that you will be sharing and it will take you longer to get to your destination but it will drop you off at the door of your hotel.

Just be aware that London traffic can be terrible. If you are arriving in the morning or leaving London in the evening expect to get stuck in traffic.

The very respected Hoxton Hotel in the trendy part of london offers good quality rooms at resonable prices. This in itself is to be applauded, but what about this deal? Every day they offer 5 of the 200 rooms for a measely ONE POUND, and a further five for a fiver. The only catch is that you must register (free) on their website. They will then tell you when these rooms are bookable. They come up about every three months. Last time they all sold out in about 30 minutes - so if you get that e-mail, get you skates on!
