You can go with local transportation, but it's much slower and brings you only to busstations.. I love the comfort of the car. It brings us right to our hotel and to the places I want to visit. Especially if you travel with 2-4 people, it's the best way to get around and not much more expensive then local transport.

A good priced hotel as on 11/04/2008 price is R309 per room that can sleep 3 people, I include a web site, check website for prices at time of booking . The good thing about this hotel is that if you arrive before 18.00pm you can pay on arrival, if arrive after 18.00 you will have you pay in advance.You can buy a very cheap continental breakfast at this hotel.
