When you choose to go on vacation in Interlaken in order to explore ALL of the most beautiful places of that area, the so-called "REGIONALPASS BERNER OBERLAND" is certainly the best pre-paid train-ticket in case that you intend to TAKE ALL OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE COGWHEEL-TRAINS and cablecars in the area around Grindelwald, Wengen, Muerren, Lauterbrunnen, Brienz, Interlaken etc.
The "Regionalpass Berner Oberland" is valid for 7 (224,-sfr) or for 15 days (270,-sfr) and during 3 or 5 of these days you may use the ticket for UNLIMITED travels, (only for Jungfraujoch you pay 50 sfr extra and for Schilthorn 30 sfr extra.)

These tickets are for 7/15 consecutive days, BUT you may choose any 3 (or 5)of these days for unlimited travels by yourself - you simply stamp your ticket at any trainstation into a machine on these days and take any train you like.
During the rest of the days you pay half of the ordinary prices.

This ticket includes also all trains, the bus and ships around Brienzersee and Thunersee, trains even till Brig, Lenk i.S., Adelboden, Meiringen, Gstaad and halfprice all days to Zermatt, Luzern, Bern etc... It includes also Brienzer Rothorn and Stockhorn.

I had this ticket with 7 days and could save a lot of money, although I had only 3 days with excellent weather.

Children under the age of 16 are cruising for free on Thunersee and Brienzersee every saturday, when-ever they are accompanied by an adult.
In this special case it need not be the parents or grandparents !

This ticket starts in Interlaken Ost, so you need only to pay the extra-ticket for 1 station Ringgenberg - Interlaken Ost !
Jungfraubahnen-pass is a special pre-paid train-ticket for 6 consecutive days and it is valid for the whole area from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen till Große Scheidegg, First, Gridelwald, Busalp, Kl.Scheidegg, Männlichen, Wengen, Mürren, Harder Kulm and Schynigge Platte. BUT FOR THE SCHILTHORN (above Muerren)you have to PAY THE FULL PRICE (65 sfr for the return-ticket)!!
You may use all of these trains and buses for free for 6 full days, only for the train from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch you pay 50 sfr extra.

The Jungfraubahnen-pass is 195 sfr for the 6 consecutive days / 145,- sfr for holders of "halbtax-abonnements" !

In case that you want to visit Brienzer Rothorn(60 sfr) & Schilthorn (65 sfr) as well, and maybe want to go also to Thun, Brienz, Meiringen or take the ships on Brienzer- and Thunersee - take a look at my other Deal for Interlaken and calculate your situation: The Regionalticket Berner Oberland might be the better deal for you, BUT when the closer Jungfrau-region is enough for you, THIS deal is the better one!

Every Monday you can get a dayticket for Thunersee and Brienzersee for just 25 sfr (1st class is 35 sfr).
This ticket will include all of the cruises, BUT NO trains ! So you would have to pay a seperate fee of 2,20 sfr for the train between Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West ( the conductor will NOT check the tickets for that ride of just 3 minutes !! )
25 sfr for the 2nd class - that is all of the lower deck of the ships
35 sfr for 1st class - all of the upper decks with better views and mostly also less crowded than 2nd class.
Both classes have their own, seperate restaurants

This ride with the funicular to the top of Niesen is totally free of charge, and even the ship to Spiez is included at the date of your birthday (see my other Ringgenberg-deals !) :
