I found a place on Asiarooms.com and it was great! I was huntin for rooms 3 days before arrival and the prices online seemed alot different when I called these 5 Star Hotels. Some were way over my budget from$338 to even $500! I scrolled alittle further and found THE HOTEL ALTERNATIVES, I was glad I did'nt give up because they were perfect! They are not a hotel, they are Singapore's first Vacation Rental that is owned and run by a USA head office with a branch in Singapore! Excellent staff, helpful and sincere.But most importantly to me is location, security, comfort and cleanliness.This place topped it all! They are located opposite the Four Seasons and the Regent although walking to Orchard MRT can be quite tiring especially in the daytime around 10 to 15min or so.

I run a small business and am in Singapore to visit some friends and clients I can afford to pay $300 and above per night but I'd rather save my lodging money for buyin stuff! At The Hotel Alternatives, I ended up paying only $110 Nett, Singapore Dollars per NIGHT! And this place met all my requirements and more, my room was clean,comfy and was fitted with a safe where you could put your valuables.

It was cool the way the phrase across their brochure said " You save an iPod a day when You stay at The Hotel Alternatives." Simply styled with chic contemporary decoration,furnished with useful facilities esp the WIFI internet!

This place comes highly reccommended by my standards!
