WHERE: Los Angeles, CA to Las Vegas, NV or San Francisco, CA WHEN TRAVEL BY: September 25, 2007 - December 2, 2007 WHEN BOOK BY: ASAP - they don't advertise how long the deal will last! I just read an article in the Sunday edition of the LA Times regarding this new Megabus launched in August of this year. You can travel from San Fran to LA and vice versa for as low as $1 if you book is advance. 45 Days is the soonest you can make your reservations. They sell so many $1 roundtrip reservations and then the price goes slightly up. Another person claimed they bought their ticket for $11 for their roundtrip ticket. Perhaps you should check it out. Just checked out the website as I am in Vegas in November and had a crazy thought about a day trip to LA. However 9-10 hours on the bus for 4 hours in LA doesn't seem like a great idea. Good deal though.
