This is only available for departing from a German airport (it seems).
You can fly Lufthansa to most of the European capitals for less than 100 Euro roundtrip (plus taxes), if you are a bit flexible in your time.
Comparing this to Ryanair from Frankfurt Hahn, it is a simple calculation of saving time and money. Ryanair definitely has its offers, but still it is a 1,5 hour drive from Frankfurt Airport by bus for 15 Euro one way. Plus: Ryanair airports are often also a bit far away from desired destinations, so additional transport costs and time upon your arrival. And Ryanair charges for the luggage. Lufthansa does not.

Check the Lufthansa website as above, make sure you chose: "fare driven", "return" and then for flexibility "yes, +/- 3 days).
A pricetable pops up, which usually contains several days with prices of less than 100 Euro.
For example (from Frankfurt International):
in November: Rome for 88 Euro, Madrid for 99 Euro,
in December: Stockholm for 99 Euro,
etc.
I checked some cities; it seems that these low prices are mostly for flights to the capitals. It works however also for Toulouse in France, so check your desired destination.

For me this is definitely a good deal, and I look up this first before checking on Ryanair.

I did learn the price calculation in the meantime, and the flight itself does cost only 12 Euro = round trip.
Now compare this with a Ryanair flight, where the prices are given in oneway.
Lufthansa takes you to the capitals of Europe for 6 Euro oneway ! And you don't have to go to the Ryanair airport, which would be 1,5 hours off Frankfurt for 12 Euro bus ticket oneway).
The rest of the price is kerosene and taxes.

I have booked the following tickets with this low price:
Venice for 88 Euro return trip (for May 2007),
London for 88 Euro (summer 2008)
Bologna for 88 Euro (spring 2008)
Stockholm for 88 Euro (Christmas time 2005 and 2006).
And more to come for sure. I just love this deal!
